Here is a nice piece of WW2 memorabilia! It is an original 1942 War Bonds postcard. Created by famous poster artist Joseph Hirsch, it pictures a serviceman going off to war. Back is printed "Issued By The US Treasury Department, War Savings Staff". Back of card is divided and postally unused. Condition-Near Mint

Here is an interesting old advertising postcard! It advertises Walk Over Shoes and pictures a man serving a tennis ball at a shopper. He catches one in the mouth! A man stands in a doorway with a shoe. Front reads "Quick Service". Back is divided with store details. Card is divided and postally unused. Condition Good w/light corner wear at upper left

This is nice! It is a 1950 era chrome postcard. Front of card pictures an old factory with pop out windows for ventilation. A vintage 50's station wagon is out front. A man waits by the car, while a woman in a uniform greets another woman on the steps. A sign on the building reads "Avon". A nice sharp Cosmetic / Perfume related postcard view! Back of postcard is divided and postally unused. Card has printed details of the "Avon Cosmetic Laboratories of Suffern New York". Describes the companies products, visitor center etc. Condition-Excellent

This is a unusual one! It is a 1920s era black and white postcard. It pictures a wrought iron stair tread or step. The front of the postcard reads "Irvings's Safety Stair Steps, Pat. May 20, 1919, Send for a catalogue A 62, Irving Iron Works Co., Long Island City, N.Y.". Back of card is divided and postmarked "Long Island City N.Y.". Card has no postmark date??? Condition-Good w/writing on face as shown.

#1973  50s Bali Restaurant Amsterdam



Here's a super advertising postcard from Amsterdam / Netherlands! The drawing is by artist Jan Avies, and shows waiters standing in a long line serving one patron at the Bali Restaurant in Amsterdam. Back reads "Indisch - Restaurant "BALI" Leinsestraat 95 - Amsterdam" with telephone number. Card has cute message about washing down the food with "Heinekens". Condition-excellent

Here is a nice one! It is a bifold advertising postcard, probably from the 1940s. It advertises the Brighton Laundry on West 6th Street In Brooklyn New York. Front has a caricature of a laundry worker, back a view of the factory. Condition-Very Good & Unused.

#1748  40s Pecan Advertising Postcard



Here's a nice old ad postcard view! It pictures a pair of vintage salt and pepper shakers, fashioned from Pecan nuts! Front of card reads "Novelty Pecan Shakers, 50c a pair, Mrs. Ruth S Jones, (S. S. E. 977) Box 76, Palmer Texas". Back of card has handwriting from the merchant that reads "Dear friend, thought you might like a set of these shakers I make, War savings stamps accepted as cash, Sincerely Ruth Jones". Back of card is divided and postmarked "Palmer TX Jan 23 1946". Condition-Very Good
